I was away on retreat this past weekend so I'm looking forward to seeing how things are going. We are fortunate to have some of our regulars back again this year. Jon Arpino will be dancing the role of Joseph. Luisa Donovan who began dancing with the company when she was 8 years old will be dancing the role of Mary. It is so lovely to see what a beautiful dancer Luisa has become and how much faith and love she brings to this part. Again we have a wonderful cast of Angels, Shepherds and a whole host of children, teens, and BC students and alumni. We have a very large cast this year, especially with the addition of dancers from Joanna Duncan's studio. I was delighted to see so many lovely new dancers who want to be a part of the show this year.

In the mornings we worked on some choreography for Paul Melley's new works. We're hoping to do some more throughout the year. The afternoon session brought together folks who just love to dance. We worked on Michael Joncas' Come to the Feast for the closing liturgy of the STM summer program. Joncas happened to be there himself and sang the piece. It was a wonderful preparation of gifts and can be viewed on the website. Soon we'll be gearing up for auditions and rehearsals of Christmas Reflections.
