.....dancing before the Lord with all his might - 2 Samuel 6:14

Act I

“InDwelling” uses the three-fold structure of Annunciation, Visitation, and Nativity as it explores the religious experience of call, response, and mission that is at the heart of the stories of faith of Mary, Joseph, and all who are called to give birth to the Good news of Jesus Christ. The piece is not only inspired by the Christmas story, but by the rediscovered experience of "walking the labyrinth."

"The three stages of the path consisted of Purgation, or releasing one's thoughts upon entering the labyrinth, Illumination, or the insight gained upon reaching the center, and Union, or integrating the experience of the completed walk into action in the world."

from "Ancient Paths, Contemporary Labyrinths"

in Churches by Judith Dupre

Act II

"Once Upon a Christmas" celebrates Christmas in medieval times with townspeople, a traveling band of players, dancing priests and nuns and “a large cast of children, who capture the spirit of the festivities with their youthful enthusiasm,” according to Andrew Dreyfus of The Boston Herald. Set to the marvelous music of the Boston Camerata, this act invites the audience to enter another time and place to experience the timeless message of the Christmas story. This year marks the 21st year of the familiar story.

Act III

“Dancing Day” weaves familiar carols in a suite of dances that reflect the wonder and glory of the angels’ tidings, “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to people of good will”.
