.....leaping and dancing before the Lord - 2 Samuel 6:16

The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola have inspired and formed Christians for centuries. The Exercises have taken on a variety of forms, perhaps none as unique as this one. Rev. Robert VerEecke, S.J. has created a multimedia experience of music, dance, and performance which makes the Exercises come alive with renewed imagination and spiritual impact.

Performed in one act exploring:

  • The Principle and Foundation
  • Human Createdness and Sin
  • Jesus' Public Ministry
  • Jesus' passion, Death and the Resurrection
  • The Experience of God's Love and Forgiveness

This theatrical, musical event is ideally suited to institutions--educational or pastoral--that are informed by Ignatian spirituality. It invites those familiar with the Exercises into an aesthetic encounter with the movements of the four weeks and introduces the newcomer to the power and richness of Ignatius' most profound contribution to our spiritual tradition.
