Dear Friends,
Words fail me as I try to express my profound gratitude to all of you who danced this year as well as those from former years who were able to be present at the final performance on the Robsham Stage after 35 years! When i created A Dancer's Christmas in 1984, the apostrophe came before the s, symbolizing a single dancer's experience of Christmas. After all these years I think the apostrophe should come after since the Christmas Shows belong to all of you! A DANCERS' CHRISTMAS! A special thanks to Brian Faherty who sent the vimeo link to the final performance you can see it in the Christmas Reflections page on our website. Love always, Fr Bob After 35 years of Christmas Choreography the company will be presenting its final performances in the Robsham Theater. 28 years of A Dancer's Christmas and 7 of Christmas Reflections add up to an amazing run! Thanks to all over the years who have made these performances so special! I hope you will be able to join us for on the 18th at 7:30, the 19th and 20th at 3PM.

As you know we filmed this work last summer and Jesuit Jeremy Zipple has been editing throughout the year. He promises me it will be done soon! When it is it will be available on this website. I also wanted to let you know about auditions for Christmas Reflections. They will take place on September 17th. Children's cast from 10-11:30 and adults and teens at 11:30. It will feature our company, Steven Cornwall and Lindsey Lodenquai from Jamaica as well as the music of Paul Melley. I hope you can join us. This year I was able to sit back and watch the amazing work of Jamie, Carol, Daisy and Kristina as they worked with the adult and children's company. The result is truly remarkable!! Such a beautiful production and the spirit of the work really captures the Joy of the Christmas season. For those of you "seasoned" followers of A Dancer's Christmas, there is an addition of the Men's Carol of the Bells with a surprise ending!
The other night I took some time to read through the hundreds of names on the scroll in the Kresge Room that was created for me at the end of A Dancer's Christmas. It flooded me with so many memories of so many wonderful people who danced in the show, worked back stage or were just supporters of ADC over it's 28 year run. I have truly been blessed! I hope you can come and see this year's performance. Jamie would like to see you there as well! Love Fr Bob This is quite a change for me! I'm sitting down at a rehearsal for Christmas Reflections instead of moving around! With the extraordinary direction of Jamie Huggins, Carol Faherty and Daisy Giunta, I can simply watch and enjoy! As always the energy and dedication of the dancers is outstanding and they really capture the spirit of this wonderful celebration of the season. Please make sure that you share this website with your friends so that they can find out about Boston's best kept Holiday secret!
